يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اعْبُدُواْ رَبَّكُمُ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُمْ وَالَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ
Transliteration Ya ayyuha alnnasu oAAbudoo rabbakumu allathee khalaqakum waallatheena min qablikum laAAallakum tattaqoona
Abdullah Yusuf Ali O ye people! Adore your Guardian-Lord, who created you and those who came before you, that ye may have the chance to learn righteousness;
Mufti Taqi Usmani O people, worship your Lord who created you and those before you, so that you may become God-fearing.
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall O mankind! Worship your Lord, Who hath created you and those before you, so that ye may ward off (evil).
Sahih International O mankind, worship your Lord, who created you and those before you, that you may become righteous -
French O hommes! Adorez votre Seigneur, qui vous a créés vous et ceux qui vous ont précédés. Ainsi atteindriez-vous à la piété.
Japanese 人びとよ。あなたがた，またあなたがた以前の者を創られた主に仕えなさい。恐らくあなたがたは（悪魔に対し）その身を守るであろう。
Russian О люди! Поклоняйтесь вашему Господу, Который сотворил вас и тех, кто был до вас, – быть может, вы устрашитесь.
