On no soul doth Allah Place a burden greater than it can bear. It gets every good that it earns, and it suffers every ill that it earns. (Pray:) "Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget or fall into error; our Lord! Lay not on us a burden Like that which Thou didst lay on those before us; Our Lord! Lay not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Blot out our sins, and grant us forgiveness. Have mercy on us. Thou art our Protector; Help us against those who stand against faith."

Allah does not obligate anyone beyond his capacity. Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned. "Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people."

Allah n'impose à aucune âme une charge supérieure à sa capacité. Elle sera récompensée du bien qu'elle aura fait, punie du mal qu'elle aura fait. Seigneur, ne nous châtie pas s'il nous arrive d'oublier ou de commettre une erreur. Seigneur! Ne nous charge pas d'un fardeau lourd comme Tu as chargé ceux qui vécurent avant nous. Seigneur! Ne nous impose pas ce que nous ne pouvons supporter, efface nos fautes, pardonne-nous et fais nous miséricorde. Tu es Notre Maître, accorde-nous donc la victoire sur les peuples infidèles.

Deus não impõe a nenhuma alma uma carga superior às suas forças. Beneficiar-se-á com o bem quem o tiver feito e sofrerá mal quem o tiver cometido. Ó Senhor nosso, não nos condenes, se nos esquecermos ou nos equivocarmos! Ó Senhor nosso, não nos imponhas carga, como a que impuseste a nossos antepassados! Ó Senhor nosso, não nos sobrecarregues com o que não podemos suportar! Tolera-nos! Perdoa-nos! Tem misericórdia de nós! Tu és nosso Protetor! Concede-nos a vitória sobre os incrédulos!

Allah fordert von keiner Seele etwas über das hinaus, was sie zu leisten vermag. Ihr wird zuteil, was sie erworben hat, und über sie kommt, was sie sich zuschulden kommen läßt. Unser Herr, mache uns nicht zum Vorwurf, wenn wir (etwas) vergessen oder Fehler begehen. Unser Herr, und erlege uns keine Bürde auf, so wie Du sie jenen aufgebürdet hast, die vor uns waren. Unser Herr, und lade uns nichts auf, wofür wir keine Kraft haben. Und verzeihe uns und vergib uns und erbarme Dich unser. Du bist unser Beschützer. So hilf uns gegen das Volk der Ungläubigen!"
