They ask thee for a legal decision. Say: Allah directs (thus) about those who leave no descendants or ascendants as heirs. If it is a man that dies, leaving a sister but no child, she shall have half the inheritance: If (such a deceased was) a woman, who left no child, Her brother takes her inheritance: If there are two sisters, they shall have two-thirds of the inheritance (between them): if there are brothers and sisters, (they share), the male having twice the share of the female. Thus doth Allah make clear to you (His law), lest ye err. And Allah hath knowledge of all things.

They seek a ruling from you. Say, "Allah gives tou the ruling concerning Kalalah. If a person dies having no son, but he does have a sister, then she will get one half of what he leaves. (On the other hand) He will inherit her if she has no child. If there are two (sisters), they will get two third of what he leaves. If they are brothers and sisters, both male and female, then, the male will get a share equal to that of two females." Allah explains to you, lest you should go astray. Allah has full knowledge of everything.

They ask thee for a pronouncement. Say: Allah hath pronounced for you concerning distant kindred. If a man die childless and he have a sister, hers is half the heritage, and he would have inherited from her had she died childless. And if there be two sisters, then theirs are two-thirds of the heritage, and if they be brethren, men and women, unto the male is the equivalent of the share of two females. Allah expoundeth unto you, so that ye err not. Allah is Knower of all things.

They request from you a [legal] ruling. Say, "Allah gives you a ruling concerning one having neither descendants nor ascendants [as heirs]." If a man dies, leaving no child but [only] a sister, she will have half of what he left. And he inherits from her if she [dies and] has no child. But if there are two sisters [or more], they will have two-thirds of what he left. If there are both brothers and sisters, the male will have the share of two females. Ils te demandent ce qui a été décrété. Dis: "Au sujet du défunt qui n'a pas de père ni de mère ni d'enfant, Allah vous donne Son décret: si quelqu'un meurt sans enfant, mais a une soeur, à celle-ci revient la moitié de ce qu'il laisse. Et lui, il héritera d'elle en totalité si elle n'a pas d'enfant. Mais s'il a deux soeurs (ou plus), à elles alors les deux tiers de ce qu'il laisse; et s'il a des frères et des soeurs, à un frère alors revient une portion égale à celle de deux soeurs. Allah vous donne des explications pour que vous ne vous égariez pas. Et Allah est Omniscient.

Если их две сестры, то им принадлежат две трети того, что он оставил. Если же они являются братьями и сестрами, то мужчине принадлежит доля, равная доле двух женщин. Consultar-te-ão a respeito da herança de um falecido, em estado de "kalala"; dir-lhes-ás: Deus já vos instruiu a este respeito: se uma pessoa morrer, sem Ter deixado prole e tiver uma irmã, corresponderá a metade de tudo quanto deixe; e se ela morrer, ele herdará dela, uma vez que esta não deixe filhos. Porém, se ele tiver duas irmãs, estas herdarão dois terços do que ele deixar; e se houver irmãos e irmãs, corresponderá ao varão a parte de duas mulheres. Deus vo-lo esclarece, para que não vos desvieis, porque é Onisciente.

Sie fragen dich um Belehrung. Sprich: "Allah belehrt euch über die seitliche Verwandtschaft: Wenn ein Mann stirbt und keine Kinder hinterläßt, aber eine Schwester hat, dann erhält sie die Hälfte seiner Erbschaft; und er beerbt sie, wenn sie keine Kinder hat. Sind es aber zwei (Schwestern), dann erhalten sie zwei Drittel von seiner Erbschaft. Und wenn sie Geschwister sind, Männer und Frauen, kommt auf eines männlichen Geschlechts gleichviel wie auf zwei weiblichen Geschlechts." Allah macht euch das klar damit ihr nicht irrt; und Allah weiß über alle Dinge Bescheid.
