O ye who believe! Approach not prayers with a mind befogged, until ye can understand all that ye say,- nor in a state of ceremonial impurity (Except when travelling on the road), until after washing your whole body. If ye are ill, or on a journey, or one of you cometh from offices of nature, or ye have been in contact with women, and ye find no water, then take for yourselves clean sand or earth, and rub therewith your faces and hands. For Allah doth blot out sins and forgive again and again.

If you are sick, or in travel, or if one of you has come after relieving himself, or you have had contact with women, and you find no water, go for some clean dust and wipe your faces and hands (with it). Surely, Allah is Most- Pardoning, Most-Forgiving.

O you who have believed, do not approach prayer while you are intoxicated until you know what you are saying or in a state of janabah, except those passing through [a place of prayer], until you have washed [your whole body]. And if you are ill or on a journey or one of you comes from the place of relieving himself or you have contacted women and find no water, then seek clean earth and wipe over your faces and your hands [with it]. Indeed, Allah is ever Pardoning and Forgiving.

O les croyants! N'approchez pas de la Salat alors que vous êtes ivres, jusqu'à ce que vous compreniez ce que vous dites, et aussi quand vous êtes en état d'impureté [pollués] - à moins que vous ne soyez en voyage - jusqu'à ce que vous ayez pris un bain rituel. Si vous êtes malades ou en voyage, ou si l'un de vous revient du lieu où il a fait ses besoins, ou si vous avez touché à des femmes et vous ne trouviez pas d'eau, alors recourez à une terre pure, et passez-vous-en sur vos visages et sur vos mains. Allah, en vérité est Indulgent et Pardonneur.
О те, которые уверовали! Не приближайтесь к намазу, будучи пьяными, пока не станете понимать то, что произносите, и будучи в состоянии полового осквернения, пока не искупаетесь, если только вы не являетесь путником. Если же вы больны или находитесь в путешествии, если кто-либо из вас пришел из уборной или если вы имели близость с женщинами, и вы не нашли воды, то направьтесь к чистой землей и оботрите ваши лица и руки. Воистину, Аллах – Снисходительный, Прощающий.

Ó fiéis, não vos deis à oração, quando vos achardes ébrios, até que saibais o que dizeis, nem quando estiverdes polutos pelo dever conjugal - salvo se vos achardes em viagem -, até que vos tenhais higienizado. Se estiverdes enfermos ou em viagem, ou se algum de vós acabar de fazer a sua necessidade, ou se tiverdes contato com mulheres, sem terdes encontrado água, recorrei à terra limpa e passai (as mão com a terra) em vossos rostos e mãos; sabei que Deus é Remissório, Indulgentíssimo.

O ihr, die ihr glaubt, nahet nicht dem Gebet, wenn ihr betrunken seid, bis ihr versteht, was ihr sprecht, noch im Zustande der Unreinheit ausgenommen als Reisende unterwegs, bis ihr den Gusl vorgenommen habt. Und wenn ihr krank seid oder euch auf einer Reise befindet oder einer von euch von der Notdurft zurückkommt, oder wenn ihr die Frauen berührt habt und kein Wasser findet, dann sucht guten (reinen) Sand und reibt euch dann Gesicht und Hände ab.
